Financial information should carry a name. This page lists the people who write and review reverse mortgage content on this site, what they are qualified in, and which pages each of them is responsible for.
Every substantive page about reverse mortgages is intended to carry four separate pieces of information, each with its own meaning:
Those dates are not interchangeable. A page can be reviewed without its data being re-verified, and data can be re-verified without the page being rewritten. Where any of them is unknown, it is left off rather than guessed.
Where a contributor holds a professional credential or licence, we list the credential, the issuing body and, where a public registry exists, a link to verify it. We do not publish credentials we cannot point at.
We are building a panel of qualified reviewers — housing counselors, mortgage professionals, financial planners and consumer-law practitioners — to check our reverse mortgage content. Reviewers are credited by name and are never asked to approve a ranking or a commercial arrangement.
Every factual statement here should be traceable to a source. If a figure, status, licence or company detail looks wrong or out of date, tell us which page and which statement, and include a source we can check. Corrections are reviewed, logged with a date, and published. A monitored corrections address is being set up; until it is live, use the corrections page for the current process.
